Independent Study
DAWA: the reference behind the curriculum.
Not everyone arrives ready to enroll. DAWA is where the study begins — the university's own African herbal reference, in your pocket, from the first plant you look up.
What DAWA contains.
Each entry honours the African lineage of the plant: its names in the tongues that have known it longest, the body systems it supports, how it is prepared, when it should be avoided, and the teaching it carries. It is drawn from the same materia medica studied in African Herbalism 101 through 401.
DAWA is a study companion, not medical advice. It is the honest first step for a person who wants to learn seriously before committing to a full course of study.
